an ecological innovation district

Sunnyvale community members created a new vision and guiding principles for the future of Moffett Park. This exciting initiative, a comprehensive update to the Specific Plan, has resulted in a new long-range planning document that maintains the uniqueness of Moffett Park and creates opportunities for improvements in how every aspect of the district is managed—including urban ecology, sustainability, transportation, housing, and climate change.

your voice

Whether you just moved to, started doing business in, started working in, or have called Sunnyvale your home for many years, the Moffett Park Specific Plan Update is an opportunity for you to help shape Moffett Park’s future. This process is a unique opportunity for all to come together and build consensus on a variety of topics that affect daily life in Sunnyvale, Moffett Park, and the South Bay.

The City has designed a robust engagement plan, accessible through the Participate page, with many ways to get involved and participate in the process. It is designed to maximize the number of opportunities and types of activities for visioning, collaborating, decision-making, and more. Together we can ensure that the Specific Plan, our guiding vision for the next two to three decades of Moffett Park’s evolution, reflects the concerns and aspirations we all share. Community voices will direct this plan, so make yours heard!
